Innovation Unit

The Innovation Unit is interested in innovative ideas capable of making a real impact on teaching and learning standards.  Many study support projects use creative and original methods to engage children in learning outside the context of normal lessons. The Innovation Unit can help schools with innovative ideas by:

  • Putting them in touch with other schools trying similar things.
  • Providing support and expertise to teachers and headteachers to develop those ideas.
  • Providing a resource centre for teachers and headteachers-bringing together information and advice about best practice.

Evaluating and disseminating what works to promote further innovation and change. The Innovation Unit is interested to hear about specific ideas. Further information on the Unit and how to submit ideas can be found on the Innovation Unit website.
