The Essential Guide to the Impact of Study Support

This guide summarises the findings from a three-year longitudinal study, The Study Support National  Evaluation and Development Programme. The study looked at the impact of participation in study support (voluntary out of school hours learning activities) on the attainment, behaviour and school attendance of secondary school students. The guide covers the planning, running and management of study support activities and how they link with the rest of the work of the school, and includes recommendations for action.

This guide is aimed at schools, Local Authorities and other study support providers, and parents/carers.
