Building the Future of Learning is not only a guide to OSHL/Study Support, but also a record that celebrates the programme's success. It draws together good practice from the activities funded under the programme and provides valuable information and examples on how to sustain activities in the future. The publication focuses on activities in England, but many of the practices and issues relate to the other parts of the UK.

The publication explains how OSHL/Study Support has developed and become embedded in national and local policy. It offers some valuable insights and signposts to help ensure sustainable projects, celebrates good practice, identifies methods for locating support and funding and offers help in planning projects.
