Who is involved in Study Support (out of school hours learning)?
Local Authorities (LAs) support schools by coordinating study support (out of school hours learning) activities across their authority, and sometimes by running their own study support activities.  However schools are the main providers of study support activities, with many forming partnerships with local businesses, community and voluntary organisations.  Many local libraries offer after schhool or holiday clubs.  Some football clubs and other sports grounds have set up study support centres through the Department's Playing for Success initiative.  Some museums and galleries also offer study support provision.
