Our featured website for this term is Knowsley City Learning Centres (CLCs). This site, accessed from the link below, includes information on all three CLCs in Knowsley. Highlights of the content include:

• Case studies detailing activities which have taken place across teaching and learning, behaviour and inclusion and leadership and management;
• Details of linkages and joint projects with educational partners, for example, Children's Fund;
• Newsletters, details of summer school activities and events that have taken place within EiC week.

Additionally, the site will provide information on bespoke projects such as the Knowsley Plus 1 Challenge. This initiative, developed in partnership with schools, challenges every year 11 pupil to raise their predicted grade by one in at least one subject between mock examinations and GCSEs.

But it's not just about kids, in addition to providing courses in leadership and management, the CLCs have established links with external organisations. The Knowsley Partnership is a good example of collaboration which has resulted in on-going joint programmes such as the Police Youth and Community programme
