Improving Schools Programme
During 08/09 the Intensifying Support Programme will be refined and rebadged as the Improving Schools Programme and will continue to be known as ISP. ISP will continue to be the targeted programme for LAs to use with their schools causing concern. As a well tested model of school improvement, ISP can be used by every school. The tools and processes central to ISP, known as the core elements, support the development of school wide systems to raise standards, sustain progress, build leadership capacity and support school self evaluation.
Different elements of ISP have dedicated areas which can be found in our ISP feature area. Pupil Progress Meeting: An interactive guide has been added to the ISP area.
